Updated Oil Pressure relief valve kit (Genuine) - 986 Boxster, non-Mezger 996 / 997, 987.1 Boxster / Cayman

Address low oil-RPM oil pressure fluctuations with these factory upgraded parts which provide more consistent oil pressure in cold engines with thick oil, and reduce noise and wear on start-up.

This kit contains 

• 1 x reshaped piston
• 1 x upgraded spring 
• 1 x sealing washer

These parts were introduced in-service by Porsche towards the end of the 997.1 production run, and will fit (and improve) all non-Mezger M96/97 engines, such as those fitted to the 986 Boxster, 996 and 997.1, and 987.1 Boxster / Cayman.

A great preventative maintenance job to do with your next oil change - one bolt to undo, pull the old piston and spring, clean the bore, install the new parts and torque to 50Nm - done.
