Universal locking wheel bolt / nut removal kit - 7 Day Rental

Porsches have always had specially designed wheels, with most models coming from the factory with a range of locking wheel nut (or bolt) designs. These range from simple splined types, to complex multi-piece designs which are effectivley impossible to remove without the correct lock nut.

While your local Porsche dealer may have a set of master locking nuts, you`re reliant on a) them having the specific patter or set for your vehicle, b) being able to get your vehicle to a dealer, and c) whether a replacement key is even available at all.

From personal experience, we know how frustrating it is to have a locking wheel bolt key break or go missing - which is why we offer this genuinely universal kit for rental.

This set is carried by many European roadside assistance organisations, for those roadside emergencies, and can remove any locking wheel nut on the market today - even the fiendish British Thatcham-approved types, with the rotating collars and eccentric spline drive!

The kit includes an impact driver and sockets, hardened removal keys, and replaceable, consumable cutters - used with internal spline drives.

Let`s be honest - like us, you`ll remove the locking nuts/bolts, replace them either with new, replacement wheel locks (or plain wheel nuts/bolts), and move on with your life.

Don`t spend over $500 on a kit that you`re going to use once, instead rent ours and we won`t even tell anyone you lost the locking wheel key!

Important Information

Trade Customers: Contact us directly to arrange short-duration rental at trade prices.

Rental Period: The standard rental period is 7 days from delivery, allowing one weekends (and plenty of weeknights) to undertake the work.

Refundable Bond: A separate refundable $150 bond will be automatically added at checkout. This will be refunded promptly once the kit is received complete and in good condition.

Consumables: Rental includes one (1) mouldable insert, which is sufficient to remove a set of wheels (and is then yours to keep). Additional insert usage will be charged at $20 each, recovered from your bond.

Shipping: Tracked outbound courier within New Zealand is included, with return shipping your responsibility. Reach out if you`d like us to arrange a prepaid return label.

Additional Terms:

• Rental equipment must be returned clean and complete, including any documentation and/or consumables
• Damage caused by misuse may incur replacement or repair costs
• Please ensure compatibility with your vehicle and application before ordering - if unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.
• Valid contact and shipping details are required for all rental orders - this may include a copy of your Drivers Licence or similar (just like Hirequip)
