This spin-on oil filter adapter, combined with our spin-on filters provides greater internal oil flow to your M96/97 flat-six, as well as providing full-flow filtration.

This means that unlike the factory arrangement, 100% of the oil gets filtered without having oil bypass the filter. It also removes one potential point of failure - the plastic housing which holds the factory cartridge insert.

On top of this - it makes changing oil filters easier. No need to worry about cross threading or contaminating the plastic housing. Easy to install - just use a 26mm socket on the machined in hex and torque to 25Nm.

Combine this with our magnetic drain plug to both pull any ferrous material from the oil as well as get an indicator of any abnormal wear.
